The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical School is seeking a faculty physician for our Foot and Ankle division.   Duties include patient care, teaching of medical students, house officer and fellows, as applicable, in an inpatient and outpatient setting and perform clinical-based research.  This opportunity reflects the upcoming expansion of a Foot and Ankle practice of two busy mid-career surgeons.

Required Qualifications*

The ideal candidate should have an M.D. degree or equivalent, completed speciality fellowship training in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery, and have experience in this area. They should hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with other researchers. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected.
