Job Summary

Function as part of a team to manage patient flow in a fast paced OB/Gyn and pediatric outpatient clinic at The Briarwood Center for Women, Children and Young Adults. We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and patient-oriented individual who will help us in creating the ideal experience for our patients, families and employees.


Assist physicians and nurses in a busy Pediatric and OB/Gyn outpatient clinic setting. Efficient patient intake, information gathering, prepares specimens, immunization and injections and administers meds and treatments as ordered. Ensures efficient patient flow to the examination rooms, assuring patient paperwork is complete. Cleans and stocks exam rooms. This team member may be cross trained for both pediatrics and OB/Gyn . Performs other miscellaneous duties as appropriate for delegation by RN staff or Manager.

Required Qualifications*

Graduation from a Medical Assistant program or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.  Must have good attendance and exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.

Desired Qualifications*

Previous Pediatric/OBGyn experience preferred. Responds positively to change, showing willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work.

Work Schedule

Variable shift/hours/days: 40 hours, Monday - Friday with Saturday rotation. Variable hours, 7:00am - 6:00pm.
