To evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders and disabilities, to relieve pain, develop or restore function and enhance maximum performance using physical modaites and execise as prescribed by a physician.
Bachelor's degree required (Master's or DPT degree in physical therapy strongly preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Satisfactory completion of an internship program. Deomstrated proficiency in patient treatment is necessary. Possession of a current state license to practice physical therpay in Michigan is ncessary.
This posiion is on the Adult medical surgical acute care team. Employee filling this position will be scheduled 40 hours per week.
Monday through Friday schedule with some weekend days and some Holidays required.
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
