The Kleer laboratory is seeking a motivated postdoctoral with experience in molecular and cellular biology to conduct breast cancer research. The candidate will carry out her/his independent project and work collaboratively with other members of the lab.
The laboratory studies the mechanisms of breast cancer invasion and metastasis including the influences of the tumor microenvironment. We employ cell and molecular biology techniques, mouse models, and human tissues. This position is an excellent opportunity to work in a collegial and highly productive cancer translational environment and is especially suitable for a candidate who aspires to make a significant contribution to the breast cancer research field.
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree in biology or a related field. Successful candidates are expected to plan, conduct and analyze experiments independently, and be able to write a manuscript draft based on the research. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Excellent organizational skills, ability to work as a team player, and positive attitude are a must. Candidates with a strong academic record and good primary publication record will be considered.
Experience in cancer biology and in vivo experiments is highly desirable.
