Pharmacy billing analyst will analyze pharmacy dispensing records and patient medical records to ensure correct patient billing and appropriate pharmacy revenue capture.
Tasks include: Daily review of MiChart billing work queues for problems with specific Willow medication patient charges; Daily processing of PHARM OR charges, for medications charted by anesthesia staff during procedures; Daily processing of RXO and RXDME transactions for retail pharmacy prescriptions that need to be billed to medical insurance; Daily review of overdue medications orders and unreconciled medication dispenses to identify missing patient charges; Identify systemic problems that need correcting within the MiChart/Willow system, working with Willow core team as needed

- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combined education and experience.
- Two to five years of experience as hospital-based pharmacy technician or other role in a medical care setting.
- Experience with University of Michigan Health System Mi-Chart.
- Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor or team member in a diverse work group.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Word and Excel preferred.
