The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery has an opening for an experienced, self-motivated, team orientated medical assistant.
The preferred candidate will possess certification as successfully passing a medical assistant course; have six months previous experience working in an ambulatory or acute care setting; will have demonstrated exceptional interpersonal communication skills, superior customer service, an exemplary attendance record, the ability to manage stress effectively, a superior work ethic and handle multiple responsibilities. The candidate must be proficient using the Microsoft suite products with a typing speed of 50 wpm.
Previous Casting and/or ortho experience. Previous experience working with MiChart/Epic care / Cadence as well as knowledge of University policies and procedures is helpful.
