Responsibilities*

Administrative Assistant Associate position to provide general administrative support to the University of Michigan-Flint Procurement and Contracts department, campus, and vendors.  Positon to provide administrative support to Procurement Agents, customer service support, maintain departmental spreadsheets, manual & website updates to include:

 Administrative Support:




  • Maintain departmental tracking spreadsheets, requisitions, blanket/contract, invoices, and vendor insurance.


  • Maintain departmental website, procedure manual updates, and training documents.


  • Send PO’s to departments and prepare for imaging


  • Mail distribution


 Customer Service:




  • Invoices:  liaison between Shared Services Center, departments, & vendors regarding invoice problems and/or approvals


  • Purchase Orders:  liaison between departments and vendor related to product, delivery, and payment.


  Reports:




  • Compile bid response spreadsheet


  • Departmental meeting agendas

Required Qualifications*

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two years of experience or less

Experience with Excel and Word

Desired Qualifications*

Strong skills in Excel and Word

Knowledge of MPathways
