Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform vital sign checks. Perform chem sticks. Assist patients with, or administer routine personal hygiene. Prepare patients for appointments. Ambulate, move, and lift patients. Assist with feeding patients. Assist patient with bed pan and urinal service and record output. Assist nurse with admission, transfer and discharge of patients. Respond to call lights. Work under the supervision of a professional nurse. Assist in obtaining and caring for equipment. Help maintain a safe, clean environment on the patient unit.
8 hour shifts involving working either days, evenings or nights & holidays according to scheduling.
