Provide direct patient care under direct supervision of the RN, performing the following types of duties: baths, weights, vital signs, assisting patients in and out of bed, drawing labs from arterial lines, change central and arterial line dressings, patient sitting, stocking of supplies, completing required checklists and answering patient calls lights.
This position requires moderate standing/walking, as well as lifting, positioning, pushing and/or transferring of patients.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Course work in allied health field, including basic science courses. Demonstrated interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Six to twelve months of prior direct patient care experiences in an acute care facility is preferred. Course work in an Allied Health field, including basic science courses is highly desirable.
40 hours per week, evening shift position (8 hour shifts).
