Job Summary

The Stamps School of Art & Design Pre-College Program is looking for dedicated and responsible students to join our staff this summer as Resident Assistants (RAs).

Resident Assistants play a critical role in the success of the Stamps Pre-College Program. RAs must live on North Campus throughout the duration of each program and thus will have room and board provided at Bursley Hall during each program. RAs engage with and mentor all student participants. RAs are responsible for enforcing both University of Michigan policy and STAMPS Pre-College rules and protocols.

RAs are responsible for the health and safety of all participants and work in concert with all other Pre-College staff to cultivate a supportive and creative learning environment. RAs observe the Pre-College Program schedule and work to ensure all student participants are safe and accounted for at all times during their residency in Ann Arbor.

We are looking for Resident Assistants for BFA Preview and Portfolio Prep, our two residential Pre-College Summer programs. Please note that these positions are time demanding and RAs will be “on call” throughout most of the program. Candidates must be available to work for both programs and should indicate their availability in a cover letter.
