Evaluate and compare performance of various statistical approaches to analysis of metabolomics datasets. Build pipelines and workflows to automate repeatable analyses methods after they have been established in order to maximize productivity of the analytical group. Suggest novel metabolomics data collection methods to improve accuracy and precision of metabolite measurements. Collaborate with other core biostatisticians to model metabolic pathways and predict sensitivities of individual metabolites to various regulatory signals. Use a variety of mass spectrometric methods.
Master’s degree in Biostatistics or Bioinformatics + 1 year of related metabolomics data analysis experience to include optimization of parameters in various manufacturer and open source software packages for metabolomics data preprocessing, experience determining data quality by using multivariate statistical tests, and experience with using algorithms for data dimensional reduction and imputation.
