To assist in the delivery of patient care and support operational functions in the operating rooms. Assist with transporting the patient to the OR and transfer from OR to PACU. Prepare OR for surgery. Prepare equipment and surgical instruments, sterilize instruments and responsible for inventory. Assist with turnover of rooms including cleaning, pulling trash, linen and reorganizing of room. Assist with putting equipment back into place.
- Satisfactory completion of Medical Assistant program and/or combination of education and clinical experience.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as, part of a team.
- Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Recent experience in a clinical setting or operating room.
This is a 40 hours/week position. Must have flexible schedule.
Working Day Shifts: Mon - Fri, with rotation possible night shifts or Sat - Sun
