Dr. Tomasz Cierpicki would like to hire a Laboratory Technician Temp for his lab in the Pathology Department.
Successful candidate will work as a part of interdisciplinary team involved in discovery of novel cancer therapeutics. The work will include production of recombinant proteins using affinity chromatography and testing activity of small molecules using biochemical assays.
Applicant must have BSc or higher education and extensive experience in expression and purification of recombinant proteins from E. coli and running biochemical assays. Additional required experience includes: preparation of media and buffers, running SDS page, using chromatographic methods such as ion exchange and size exclusion.
Experience in biophysical assays would be a plus.
This position is available starting March 1st 2017 for 12 months.
