Job Summary

NIH T32-funded postdoctoral fellowships are available at the University of Michigan Medical School Department of Dermatology in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Training opportunities exist in cutaneous oncology, hair follicle stem cell biology, skin aging. and the immunology and genetics of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases.

Responsibilities*

The primary responsibility of this position will be scientific research, additional duties may include, but are not limited to: reading scientific literature, giving talks, attending seminars and conferences, and mentoring students. Specific responsibilities will vary dependent on area of study (cutaneous oncology, hair follicle stem cell biology, skin aging. and the immunology and genetics of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases).

Required Qualifications*

Successful candidates will possess MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degrees with relevant life sciences training, and will be interested in a career in Dermatology / cutaneous biology research.

Desired Qualifications*

Desired qualifications include: strong work habits, excellent communication, writing skills, reliability and teamwork.

Due to restrictions associated with the funding mechanism, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents will be eligible for these opportunities.
