The University of Michigan School of Dentistry is seeking applications and nominations for a full-time, tenure-track faculty at the assistant/associate professor level in the Division of Endodontics, Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics.
The Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences and Endodontics has had a strong basic science and translational science research portfolio for decades, with specific strengths in the areas of cell and molecular biology of the pulp and regenerative endodontics. We now seek to enhance our research program through the recruitment of a new tenure track faculty. The primary objective for the new faculty is to develop as an independent investigator within the department. Candidates who demonstrate a record of ongoing scholarly activity and strong potential for obtaining extramural research funding are encouraged to apply. Ample opportunities for collaboration and mentoring exist within the schools of Dentistry, Medicine and Engineering. Clinical and teaching responsibilities will align with the candidate’s interests and prior training.
Candidates should have a DMD/DDS degree and/or a PhD degree (or equivalents). A State of Michigan Clinical Academic Dental license might be available for qualified candidates.
This position is located in the School of Dentistry at 1011 N. University Ave
The successful candidate will be appointed on the tenure track at the rank of assistant or associate professor with a recruitment package commensurate with experience and credentials. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
