Responsibilities*

Assist the Occupational Therapst in working with Adult Rehab patients carring out complex testing and treatment procedures such as muscle testing, goniometry, ADL, muscle re-education, endurance training and patient education.  Assesses patiient's day to day progress in functional terms/documentation and reports findings to occupational therapist.  Implement treatment programs for patients modifying programs as patient progresses with guidance from an occupational therapist.

Required Qualifications*

  • Requires an Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
  • Current Michigan COTA License and NBCOT certification. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the public and staff is necessary.

Desired Qualifications*

  • Rehab experience preferred. 

Work Schedule

32 hour, 8 hour day position.  Schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  With the opportunity to pick up additional hours to meet patient needs.
