Performs collaborative patient centered care to a varied patient population, including General Medicine diagnosis.
Assess and monitors patient status for young adult to elderly patients including response to medications, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Implements care plans and evaluates nursing care. Identify problems and needs presented by patients and families and initiate appropriate interventions.
Thoroughly documents patient care including change in patient status as required according to hospital/ unit practice. Actively participates in continuous quality improvement and safety initiates.
8C offers 8 and 12 hour shifts, shift rotation, a comprehensive orientation with a strong preceptor program and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population.
