The University of Michigan-Flint, Physical Therapy Departmetn is seeking applicants for a Lecture I for the 2017 spring/summer semester (May-July) as a laboratory instructor to teach PTP 602 Biophysical Agents, Part B (face to face course).

"Estimated saalry for position is $1,395 for teaching one lab section of one course.
The LEO faculty member for PTP 602 Biophysical Agents Part B course will be responsible for assisting with instructing labs and administering lab practical exams. The expertise of the LEO faculty member will be used in meeting course objectives for modules related to foundations and implementation of biophysical agents in various forms of energy techniques to influence the tissue health process, pain, and muscle force generation within appropriate patient populations.
"This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment."
- Graduate of a CAPTE accredited (or its equivalent) professional Physical Therapy program.
- Currently licensed as a physical therapist in the State of Michigan or eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan.
- Master’s degree required.
- 36 months of full time (or equivalent) post licensure clinical experience with contemporary expertise in foundations and implementation of biophysical agents in various forms of energy to influence the tissue healing process, pain, and muscle force generation within appropriate patient populations.
DPT or higher degree preferred.
Member of APTA preferred.
