The University of Michigan-Flint, Physical Therapy Department is seeking applicants for a Lecturer Is for the 2017 spring/summer semester (May-July) as laboratory instructors to teach PTP 830 Musculoskeletal Lower Quadrant Integration (face to face course). Preference is for one person to assist in all labs, but assignment to an individual lab may be considered.

"Estimated salary for position is approximately $2,170 for teaching two lab sections of one course.
The LEO faculty member for PTP 830 Musculoskeletal Lower Quadrant course will be responsible for assisting the primary instructor in conducting labs and administering practical exams. The expertise of the LEO faculty member will be utilized in meeting course objectives for modules related to the application of advanced examination and interventions designed to treat patients with complex orthopedic and disorders related to the lower quadrant.
"This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment."
- Graduate of a CAPTE accredited (or its equivalent) professional Physical Therapy program.
- Currently licensed as a physical therapist in the State of Michigan or eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan.
- Master’s degree required.
- 36 months of full time (or equivalent) post licensure clinical experience with contemporary expertise in the application of advanced examination and interventions designed to treat patients with complex orthopedic and disorders related to the lower quadrant.
DPT or higher degree preferred.
Member of APTA preferred.
