Job Summary

Seeking a laboratory technician with some experience to join a dynamic and growing lab focused on injury and repair of the lung. Work will be with cell culture and mouse models under the guidance of the PI. Requirements include outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work hard and be flexible in a fast-paced environment, and ability to get along with other lab members. Prior experience with mice, cell culture, microscopy, RNA/qPCR, western blotting, and flow cytometry would be helpful but is not required.

Responsibilities*

  • Performs more complex experimental procedures in one or more areas of work under the supervision of higher level research staff. Helps clean up after experiments.
  • Administers tests, gathers data, records observations and measurements.
  • Sets up and operates laboratory equipment
  • Performs routine computations and computer analysis
  • Assist in routine computer analysis.
  • Responsible for completing lab documentation for inspections

Required Qualifications*

HS Diploma or Assoc Degree and 1-3 years experience required.

Desired Qualifications*

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
