Job Summary

Seeking a postdoctoral fellow with extensive previous basic science experience in neuronal systems who is energetic, enthusiastic, and enjoys collaborative and independent science. 


Duties for this position include:
- Microsurgical skill is a must. Applicant must be comfortable with rodent surgery with little training.
- Molecular biology experiments (genetics, epigenetics, proteomics).
- Cell culture techniques (maintaining established lines, starting new cell lines for the lab, transfection experiments).
- Handling and managing animals (mice and rats, isolating tissues, sectioning, ISH and IHC).
- Manuscript preparation.

Required Qualifications*

- Microsurgical skill set and extensive previous surgical experience.
- Ability to work and troubleshoot independently.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software.

Desired Qualifications*

 Highly motivated, detail oriented, responsible individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
