The Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan-Flint is seeking lecturers to teach five courses for the Fall 2017 semester beginning September 5, 2017. The courses include:
- Intermediate Algebra that meets TR 11:00 am - 12:15 pm,
- Intermediate Algebra that meets TR 2:30 am - 3:45 pm,
- College Algebra that meets TR 9:30 am – 10:45 am,
- Precalculus that meets TR 12:30 pm – 1:40 pm, and
- Precalculus that meets TR 2:30 pm – 3:40 pm.
This position is for the Fall 2017 semester only. Minimum salary for this position is $3,413 per course section.
MA in Mathematics or a closely related field,
or at least 4 years of high school mathematics teaching experience or 2 years of college teaching experience in mathematics or a closely related discipline.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
