Job Summary

The University of Michigan has challenging and rewarding opportunities available
for responsible, organized, and motivated individuals in Corpus Christi, TX. Our
office is hiring as part of a long running stroke and sleep apnea research project.

Responsibilities*

Primary responsibilities for this position may include collecting data from Corpus
Christi area hospitals, interviewing stroke patients, and taking the leg and neck
circumference measurements and bioimpedance measurements on subjects just
before they go to bed and in the morning prior to their rising from bed. This
individual will also enter results directly into a database via a laptop.

Required Qualifications*

HS Diploma or Assoc Degree and 1-3 years experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

If underfilled at a lower classification, the position will require:
HS Diploma or Assoc Degree and 0-1 year experience

Desired Qualifications*

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others, and strong oral and
written communication skills are required. Medical chart experience, strong
computer skills, and medical terminology are preferred. Weekend, evening, and
early morning availability is necessary. Candidates will be required to cross-train
in other job duties. High school graduation/equivalent is required. Bilingual
(Spanish/English) preferred to serve Spanish-speaking population. Research
experience and/or minimum of 2 years college, LVN or other medical degree
preferred.
