Job Summary

To evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders and disabilities, to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician.

Required Qualifications*

DPT degree in physical therapy or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.  Demonstrated proficiency in patient treatment is necessary. Possession of a current state license to practice physical therapy in Michigan is necessary.  Needs to have advanced specialty practice in the evaluation and treatment of all Pelvic floor diagnoses for men and women and children.  Pediatric experience preferred, majority of position is Pediatric focued.  It is also preferred that the candidate have experience in providing physical therapy services for the needs of women who are peripartum.  APTA Board Certification in Women's Health (WCS) preferred.
