Job Summary

The candidate will provide a wide variety of moderately complex to complex technical lab support for a research facility (including knowledge of basic veterinarian surgical techniques) . Assists in evaluating lab methods, procedures, and techniques based on established objectives. Provides assistance in manipulating, computing, and analyzing data using complex statistical computer software ( SAS, MatLab etc.).

Responsibilities*

Maintain thorough records of experiments and data; monitor and maintain lab inventory; operate, calibrate and maintain lab and monitoring equipment as well as carryout other research-related duties as needed.  

Required Qualifications*

  • High School diploma or Associate's in biological/animal science or related field of study.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a research laboratory setting. 
  • Computer skills including data management and word processing programs. 
  • Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Desired Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in biological/animal science or related field of study.
