The Department of Behavioral Sciences (Sociology discipline) at the University of Michigan-Dearborn invites applications for a Lecturer I position to begin September 1, 2017. Behavioral Sciences currently has 30 faculty members representing Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology and Criminal Justice.
Lecturer I needed to teach Inside-Out Prison Exchange course up to once per year beginning 9/1/17.
Candidate must have a Masters degree in Sociology (PhD preferred) or similar field, and must have completed the Inside-Out National Instructors Institute prior to beginning the course.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
