Navigate OfficeMate/Eyefinity software to enter orders and payments; greet patients; display a positive attitude at all times; verify insurance coverage before placing orders; properly complete and submit required paperwork for eyeglass orders and insurance claims; properly complete minor repairs such as realigning frames and replacing stripped screws; treat patients cordially and with respect. Required to travel to both the Brighton, and Canton optical shops based on staffing.
American Board of Opticianry Certified (ABOC) or agrees to become certified within 2 years. Skilled in frame styling, adjusting and minor frame repairs.
Minimum of three years of on the job experience as a Dispensing Optician; skilled in frame styling; able to apply press-on Fresnel prisms; adept at pediatric dispensing.
Monday-Friday with some evening and weekends.
