This is an Infusion Center RN position with staffing assignments at the Clark Rd. Ypsilanti, Non-oncology Infusion Clinic.
We are pleased to share that Michigan Medicine is working to secure a new lease at a local facility to provide Rheumatology Clinical and Infusion (non-oncology) services. This space currently houses a 3 physician practice and infusion center formally known as AA Rheumatology. The practice will be closing this summer and the physicians are in the process of joining Michigan Medicine as faculty. The site is located at 3145 W Clark Road, Ypsilanti Michigan.
This is a unique opportunity for Michigan Medicine to bring on 3 new providers and infusion space to handle incremental activity while we bridge the time need for the EAA expansion.
Currently the hours of operation for both the clinic and infusion center are Monday-Friday between 8-5:00 PM
Provide telephone triage, patient teaching, direct patient care, documentation with follow-up and coordination with ancillary services and related departments.
Provide functional supervision to allied health staff.
Maintain accurate and timely files of Rheumatology patients.
Work with the Rheumatologists to develop and carry out clinical standards of care for various patient diagnoses.

Salary & Nursing Framework Level:
This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C (B INC).
Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E.
Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.

Positions less than 20 hours/week may be combined.

A minimum of three (3) years of RN experience.
Demonstrated competence with IV insertions and infusions.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills through use of the nursing process.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks, collaboratively problem-solve and delegate.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills including a positive attitude and conflict management skills.
Demonstrated adaptability to changing needs and priorities based on unit, department, and institutional goals.
Demonstrated accountability and dependability for work completion within established time lines.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently as well as within a team.
Proficiency in computer and keyboarding skills using electronic medical record.

Infusion center experience
Experience with care coordination and managing complex patient populations.
Proficiency with MiChart documentation and notifications.
