Job Summary

The University of Michigan School of Nursing, Department of Health Behavior and Biological Sciences is seeking a temporary Research Assistant I to assist faculty with their research project. The research assistant will be analyzing data for the project and must have an interest in biostatistics.

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree in computational science field required. Master's degree with substantial data analytic experience, preferred.
  • Experience with retrieval, management, and updating databases, archives, and collections
  • Ability to conduct research, summarize findings, project organization, tracking and reporting
  • Demonstrated expertise in harmonizing datasets from multiple sources

Desired Qualifications*

  • Must be self-driven
  • Experience with R (statistical computing software) and SAS
  • Experience with programming and scripting coding
  • Basic data science training

Additional Information

Hourly Rate: $20.00

Work Schedule: 10 hours per week
