Responsibilities*

Provide highly responsible and skilled secretarial and administrative support for the Division of Medical Services.

  • Exercise initiative, independent judgment, diplomacy, a service-oriented attitude, and follow-through in providing general secretarial support; including excellent attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely fashion.
  • Utilize discretion and appropriate judgment regarding sensitive and/or confidential matters.
  • Assist with the development of slides, detailed medical illustrations, graphics and other presentation materials.
  • Take minutes at various conferences and meetings as necessary.

Required Qualifications*

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of secretarial experience is necessary.  Reasonable knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations is necessary.
  • Must have exceptional written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
  • Utilize discretion and appropriate judgment regarding sensitive and/or confidential matters.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines is required.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through and meeting deadlines with time-management and multi-tasking skills necessary.
  • Ability to make complex travel and conference arrangements.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a dedicated team.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working in a team oriented atmosphere and can manage a fast paced work environment with the ability to promote professional relationships within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail is essential.

Must possess strong skills in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Concur and Onestaff
