To evaluate and treat patients with diseases, injuries, disorders and disabilities, to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician.
Masters or DPT degree in physical therapy or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Satisfactory completion of an internship program is necessary. Demonstrated proficiency in patient treatment is necessary. Possession of a current State license to practice physical therapy in Michigan is necessary. Experience treating outpatients with orthopaedic/spine and extremity conditions is required. Experience in treating cancer patients/oncology rehab is desired.
This position can be underfilled with a candidate that does not yet have possession of a current State license to practice physical therapy in Michigan.”
