Job Summary

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Michigan Health System and C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital is seeking a board eligible/certified physician in Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology to join the Michigan Congenital Heart Center. We are recruiting a full-time Pediatric Cardiologist to provide general pediatric cardiology care at key clinical outreach sites. The pediatric cardiologist will serve as a leader in developing and growing these outreach clinics.  Additional duties will include participating in general cardiology ward coverage, teaching and developing research projects.

Required Qualifications*

M.D., board eligible/certified in Pediatrics/Pediatric Cardiology, hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan.  Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected.

Desired Qualifications*

Excellent clinical skills and knowledge base needed to work independently.  Expertise in interpreting echocardiography is desired.
