The Child Health Evaluation and Research (CHEAR) Unit in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Michigan is looking for a motivated individual
This individual will be responsible for coordinating a grant-funded research project screening pediatric participants for pre-diabetes and diabetes through February 2019.
Responsibilities include project management, performing participant recruitment, obtaining parental consent, interfacing with other staff and participant families at study visits (including Saturdays), data collection and cleaning, and supervision of research assistants.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and 1-3 years related research experience.
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
- Highly organized and self-directed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated and highly attentive to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
