Job Summary

The Department of Literature, Philosohy, and the Arts is seeking an instructor to teach ART 204/324: Beginning and Intermediate Watercolor for the Fall 2017 semester (September - Dec. 2017) Appointment is for one semester only, with the possibility of re-appointment for future terms.  Beginning and Intermediate levels are taught during the class period with instructor dividing time between the two levels. The salary will range from $990 - $3,537.50 depending on the number of students enrolled in the class.

Desired Qualifications*

Candidates are expected to have an MFA, painting preferred.  Experience in teaching college level painting (acrylic, oil or watercolor) with watercolor preferred.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
