Job Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities

There is a need for an Instructional Aide in N527 – Promoting Optimal Models and Systems for Healthcare Delivery for the Winter 2018 term. This course is a survey course of health care systems with particular attention to quality and safety, comparative health systems and information systems. Work may include, but is not limited to assisting in teaching courses, assisting in the preparation of instructional materials, assisting with exam preparation, conducting review sessions, meeting with student groups regarding group activities and projects, meeting with students who fail tests or receive course warning, conducting the lab (A & P). This course uses Harvard Business cases as a major teaching/learning component and thus, experience with case studies would be ideal.

Required Qualifications*

Requirements for Job

Bachelor degree required, masters preferred. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with superior ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) are required.  Proven attention to details, adaptable, and strong organizational skills are required.

Work Schedule

Hours per term: up to 150 hours per term total

Start date: 1/3/2018

End date: 4/30/2018

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $20/hr.
