Initiates and performs all basic respiratory care techniques, including but not limited to blood gas analysis, equipment rounds, compressed gas therapy, basic ventilator parameters. Trained in Cardio-Pulmonary Association standards, administers medication including: antibiotic bronchodilators. Stock designated areas with respiratory care equipment.
High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and exerience is necessary. Acceptance in a Respiratory Therapy Program or previous respiratory therapy experience is necessary.
