Job Summary

Professor Peter Tessier is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in his laboratory in pharmaceutical sciences/chemical engineering. This position involves developing high-throughput methods for evaluating the biophysical properties of monoclonal antibodies to identify variants with drug-like properties. This project involves developing and implementing nanoparticle-based assays that have been pioneered in the Tessier lab and are being used widely in the Biotech industry. The goal is to identify antibody variants with drug-like biophysical properties early in the discovery process to avoid proteins later in the development process. This project will be conducted in close collaboration with scientists at Sanofi.

Required Qualifications*

  • Biochemistry experience
  • PhD (or be close to obtaining a PhD) in engineering, life sciences, chemistry, phamaceutical science/chemistry or a related field.
