Job Summary

Professor Peter Tessier is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in his laboratory in pharmaceutical sciences/chemical engineering. This position involves the generation and optimization of conformational antibodies specific for peptide aggregates that form during the manufacture of therapeutic peptides. The project involves designing antibody libraries, performing in vitro antibody selections to identify antibody variants with conformational and sequence specificity for peptide aggregates, and affinity maturing the selected antibodies. This project will provide training in antibody design, evolution, optimization and characterization. This project is in collaboration with Novo Nordisk.

Required Qualifications*

  • Molecular biology & biochemistry experience
  • PhD (or be close to obtaining a PhD) in engineering, life sciences, chemistry, phamaceutical science/chemistry or a related field.
