Job Summary

Assists and instructs users in the use of reference-level information resources (in person, by telephone, via email, or other communication methods) including citation management software.  Handles or refers as appropriate a broad range of user questions about library services and facilities. Train students for the Information Desk.

The candidate may be responsible for opening and/or closing the library.  The candidate will handle facility issues that may arise.  The candidate will also contact plant services and the Department of Public Safety when appropriate.

Handles transactions and questions from users about circulation policies and procedures.  Handles Aleph data entry for circulation, reserves, acquisitions, and/or cataloguing modules.
