The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan seeks applicants for a LEO Lecturer I to teach three upper level classes for the Winter 2018 terms in Peninsular, Latinx Studies or Latin American literature and culture. The anticipated effort for this position is 100%.
Applicants must have a PhD in hand. Applicants must have native, or near-native fluency in Spanish and English, as well as prior experience teaching courses in the field of Hispanic Studies.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
