- Screen for and enroll (obtain informed consent) research subjects.
- Independently perform data collection, including interviews, surveys and follow-up contact.
- Enter data, ensuring accuracy, into an electronic data base system.
- Interact with research team to ensure that issues are addressed promptly, so quality data collection and entry maintained throughout entire study.
Must have a bachelor's degree in Life Science or related field. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required. Must have outstanding interpersonal skills and a desire to interact with patients, children, and members of the research and healthcare teams. Positive and friendly attitude and a strong desire to work with patients in both an in-patient and out-patient setting. Experience with SPSS or a similar research database desired. Individual with experience in a clinical setting and navigating MiChart or other electronic medical record system is preferred. Superior organization skills in terms of time, materials, scheduling and protocol events.
