To augment research team while personnel are on leave, we need someone to start as soon as possible (interviews in the week of Sept. 4). Full-time is preferred, but we will consider someone for part-time employment.
Pay will be commensurate with the skill level.
The temporary position will last at least through December 2017. A recent Ph.D. graduate, postdoc, or experienced technician would be ideal, especially someone looking for short term employment in Ann Arbor while transitioning to another position. However, individuals with less experience will also be considered. Temporary employees can receive health benefits, in accordance with the Affordable Care Act.
The candidate should have many or most of the following skills.
- Cell culture
- Western blotting
- Mouse husbandry, organ harvest, processing
- ELISA assays
- Data analysis, figure generation and contribution to manuscript(s) (with authorship as appropriate)
