- Manage social media for department (events such as honors ceremony, various student and alumni events, Faculty and Staff retreats, Public Health Speaker Series, Welcome Back for Students, induction ceremonies for ESG and UPD, etc.) and various activities.
- Maintain and conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner while representing the department
- Respect university policies and procedures in regard to this role
High School diploma
1 year of administrative support responsibility
Excellent writing, analytical and editing skills with strong verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills
Flexible, self-motivated and able to initiate and work independently and as part of a team
Good organizational/project management skills and strong attention to detail
Ability to take direction and follow through on commitments to completion
Familiarity with University policies and procedures
UM-Flint student with Work Study funding for 2017-2018
Work hours to be within Monday – Friday, 8am-6pm.
This is a temporary position lasting up to 12 months, depending upon department need.
