The West Ann Arbor Health Center – Parkland Plaza is the newest Ambulatory Care facility dedicated to providing high quality health care services for adults and children. The brand new 2-story facility is located 380 Parkland Plaza in Ann Arbor. We are actively seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-oriented individuals who will share in the goal of creating the ideal experience for our patients, families and employees.

Under direct supervision, provides general administrative support to a department or group of professionals. Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports or presentation materials, prepares charts, graphs, or tables and assist with record keeping as necessary. Maintain the calendar of the Medical Director, including exercising judgement on setting priorities for the effective use of leadership time. Receives and responds to routine correspondence following established procedures not requiring management review. Requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills.
One to two years of administrative assistant skills
Individual must exhibit a professional and positive image when interacting with patients, faculty and staff. They must also adhere to a high standard of personal and professional conduct; possess excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills; and demonstrated ability to interact with a diverse population.
Candidates must be able to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team, handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. In addition, candidate must demonstrate problem solving skills, proficient computer and keyboarding skills, and excellent attendance.
- Experience within an ambulatory setting
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures
Monday- Friday with potential need for occasional evening coverage
