The Prenatal Stress Study (PSS) aims to determine the impact of stress during pregnancy on maternal health, infant development, and the mother-infant relationship. We are seeking a staff member to assist with a various research tasks, such as study recruitment, telephone screening, transcription, running lab visits, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed. Additionally, staff may assist with childcare in the play area during some lab visits. This position offers hands-on experience with participant interaction, data management, clinical research procedures and coordination/management aspects of running longitudinal research studies.

Study visits begin at 12:30pm at one of 3 locations in either Ann Arbor, Detroit, or Jackson. Therefore, travel is required and students must have reliable transportation (study vehicles may be available; mileage reimbursement available). Staff MUST HAVE availability at least 2-3 days a week from noon-4pm. Saturday availability is a plus.
Additionally, due to the women we serve, this position requires deep sensitivity to vulnerable populations and issues such as, intimate partner violence, substance use, mental health issues, etc.
