Responsibilities*

Estimated salary for position is $980 for teaching one online course. 

The LEO faculty member teaching PTP 623: Introduction to Musculoskeletal Imaging will be responsible for conducting online lectures for this course and creating and administering written exams and assignments. The expertise of the LEO faculty member will be utilized in meeting course objectives for modules on current musculoskeletal imaging with emphasis on radiology and demonstration of a system to view radiographs, development of basic terminology utilized by radiologists to assist in communication, and utilization of radiographs and other musculoskeletal imaging studies as an adjunct to physical therapy practice.

This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters wtih respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.

Required Qualifications*

  1. Graduate of a CAPTE accredited (or equivalent) professional PT program.
  2. Bachelor’s degree
  3. Licensed or regulated in a U.S. jurisdiction as a physical therapist.
  4. Three years (or equivalent) post-licensure clinical experience in physical therapy or relevant content area.
  5. Contemporary expertise in current musculoskeletal imaging with emphasis on radiology.

Desired Qualifications*

  1. Master’s degree or higher preferred.
  2. Member of APTA preferred.
