How to Apply

Applicants should send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a list of five references (letters are not required at this time). In the cover letter, applicants should include brief creative/research and teaching statements.

DUTIES: The successful applicant will teach graduate and undergraduate classes on ethnomusicological theories and world music repertories and practices; supervise undergraduate and graduate student thesis and research projects; recruit students of high caliber; develop and maintain an active and nationally recognized scholarly profile through publications and conference presentations; participate in faculty governance responsibilities.

Required Qualifications*

Completed PhD in ethnomusicology or related area by August 2018; exceptional scholarly potential, or established scholarly reputation; collegiate teaching experience.
