Job Summary

The University of Michigan School of Dentistry invites applications and nominations for a full-time faculty position at the Clinical Assistant Professor level, commensurate with credentials.

The Division of Pediatric Dentistry provides an outstanding clinical, academic, and research education to predoctoral dental students and graduate students in the division's 30-month MS degree pediatric dentistry program. The division has state-of-the-art clinical facilities based at the School of Dentistry and has strong faculty and staff support.

Candidates must have a DDS or equivalent degree and advanced training in pediatric dentistry. Certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is preferred. Prior teaching experience, demonstrated scholarly activity, and record of service and leadership to the profession and specialty is desirable. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching in the predoctoral and residency programs, scholarly activity, and service. A State of Michigan license is required; however, a Clinical Academic Limited License may be available for qualified candidates. Candidates must be eligible to work in the USA. Faculty practice opportunities are available. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and training.
