Looking for a highly motivated, competent and skilled candidate with expertise and experience in the area of structural biology, biochemistry and computational chemistry to join a laboratory focused on discovery, design and development of bioactive compounds against innovative and challenging targets. The candidate should have expertise in different biophysical and structural methodologies and prior lab experience in X-ray crystallography and computational chemistry is highly preferred.
Responsibilities include construct design, development and optimization of protein purification protocols, purification and characterization of crystallization-grade protein, as well as crystal screening and optimization, structure solution and solving novel structures, and drive drug design workflows. It is expected that the candidate has ability to work independently, as well as to be part of a multidisciplinary team, to collect and tabulate data, publish and present results.
Job Requirements: Ph.D. in Biochemistry or a related field (Biology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology, etc.) and evidence of scholarly ability (record of publication in peer-reviewed journals, etc.)
