Job Summary

The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology is seeking applications for a 66.67% LEO Lecturer I position teaching MCDB 310, Introductory Biochemistry. The appointment is for Summer Half Term 2018 only (July 1 – August 31, 2018).  Please note classes begin Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

Terms and conditions of employment for this position as posted are subject to the provisions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University of Michigan and the Lecturers Employee Organization.

Required Qualifications*

The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field and be knowledgeable in the topics covered in the course MCDB 310 “Introductory Biochemistry” offered by the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan. 

Desired Qualifications*

Qualified candidates should be fluent in the area of expertise and exhibit evidence of excellent teaching skills.

The appointment opportunity has been approved by the academic unit, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology.
